I have loved AMC for years.I love all the oldies.You show all the movies people like,until lately.This madman thing is stupid!!!!!!!!!
Get back too the movies and leave the SOAPS to the other channels!!!

I agree about the pop-ups! Those are soooo annoying. Enough with the pop-ups!
If I didn’t like the show, I can imagine how much MORE annoying they would be.
AMC – quit using those movie-enjoyment ruining pop-up ads!

If the show sucked as bad as you think, it would not have been nominated for, and won so many awards. It’s the first made-for-cable tv show that has ever won best drama series at the Emmys.
It has brought back the formality of that era in the trends it is setting. Mad Men has been featured in Playboy twice – one time for the men’s fashion. It was featured in the Seattle Times (on the AP) for men’s and women’s fashion. It is influencing fashion like no other show before it.
“Stupid” shows do not have this affect on audiences. Definately, it is NOT flirting with death.
I agree that AMC should play more OLDER movies… Some of the movie that are shown are not CLASSICS… Maybe classic crummy movies, but not classic in the sense of the word.
If you don’t like the show, then don’t watch it.
