To whom it may concern;
I am seeing advertisements on AMC for this season’s run of Breaking Bad. I may be an old fogie, but frankly, I believe by you running this series and those like it you are corrupting our society. Fact: the United States has a huge drug problem. Fact: drug money is on the verge of ruining our economy. This program: Breaking Bad glorifies drugs, (especially Meth,) drug dealers and the people who manufacture this abomination. The series also promotes and validates violence and exploits those who are involved in the illegal use, manufacture and sales of this crap.
Why doesn’t your network stick to what you know and show classic movies as you name dipicts? I am forwarding a copy of this correspondence to the Federal Communications Commission for their complaint library. Thank you for indulging me in this matter.
I don’t personally like the series, although I think that the guys act well. I don’t like the “American Movie Classics” is not all movies, and the ads for these series keeps popping up during the movies. If someone likes the series, they will figure out when to watch it. I really prefer Turner Classic Movies now, as all of theirs really are classics.
