WTH was the Life Coach interruption at 8:30pm CT during The Client??? That had to be the dumbest, and most annoying thing I’ve seen on this channel!! Much more of this, and I’ll find something else to watch.
Really BAD idea,,,,,

Attention Management,
We have always liked the movies shown on your channel, except for all the commercials which I mute anyway.
I would like someone to explain (no excuses) why the sound level on many movies is so low that I have to turn the volume up to 65 or 70 just to hear it; and even then it does not raise the sound level? I know that there is nothing wrong with the TV, because the sound levels on all the other channels can be easily heard at normal range. In addition; when the commercial starts on your channel, it is booming out so loud, we have to turn it off.
We are missing so much of the sound track, and it is becoming a deterrent from watching your channel. Please reply and let us know what you can do to resolve the problem, so that we can continue to watch.
Thank you for your reply.

I’m just wondering if you take requests?? I sure would love to see the Clint Eastwood movies, Every Which Way But Loose and Any Which Way You Can . Would sure appreciate just a full day of Clint Eastwood, but most especially these two movies. I love his Ma and Clyde.
Thank you so very much. I love watching AMC, I think this channel is great.

I was just trying to enjoy the ending of a great movie you were showing, when I realized how many commercials I was having to watch just to see the ending. Back when you were soliciting watchers for monetary support so you could stay on the air, I was there for you. Now that you have 12 commericals every 10 minutes, I see I am no longer needed for support. So I’ll just say, “Thanks for the memories” and I’ll not be watching anymore…..

While watching with my family, the movie True Lies with Arnold Schwarzeneggr, Jamie Lee Curtis, Tom Arnold, and Bill Paxton, I found the censoring to be complete inadequate.
Ok here is the scene. Arnold, and Bill are driving in this Corvette, and Bill is explaining how he is cheating with Arnold’s wife. Bill uses the phrase “Vets make them wet” The term “Wet” is censored probably due to the sexual reference. However the next phrase in the Corvette is “she has an ass like a 10 year old boy” This phrase was not censored, or edited. how is that not a sexual reference to a child’s body?
So my 10 year old son would like to know what his 10 year old ass has to do with the movie.
Could AMC Executives explain this to my son, because his mother and I could not.

We love this show. Mr. White has gone from someone so sympathetic to someone we love to hate. We missed the May 2d episode. Will you be running it again? Also love most of the movies you run, even if we have seen them in the past. Keep up the good work.

The movie in question is Streets of Laredo, 1949, with William Holden, MacDonald Carey, william Bendix and Mona Freeman.
Will this movie be shown again on AMC ? Can a copy be purchased ?

To Whom It May Concern:
What’s up with AMC. When AMC first started out years ago, AMC ran their movies commercial free. Now, AMC runs about fifteen minutes of the movie and forty-five minutes of commercials, one after another. It also seems that AMC’s movie library is VERY limited, they keep running the same old dry as dust movies over and over again, sometimes three or four times a week. Also, AMC’s two new series, Breaking Bad and Mad Men, STINK. I can’t find any entertainment of any kind in those two series at all. I hope AMC isn’t thinking of producing anymore series like those two. No wonder, TCM has got AMC beaten hands down, with no commercials and different movies every day of the month. I have to say, AMC used to be my favorite movie channel, but that’s changed in the past few years. Maybe AMC should send out some kind of survey to it’s viewers to find out what other viewers think. I’m sure this one letter wouldn’t influence AMC at all, but a viewer survey would, one way or another. I very well could be wrong about AMC, but I doubt it. I’m kind of glad that I receive AMC as part of my cable package, because if I had to pay for AMC programming, AMC would starve to death. Thanks for allowing me to have my say. Have a great day!

Dear Sirs,
What on earth inspired you to broadcast “The Ninth Gate“?
Seriously, I’d like to know.
Because this film clanks along in tedious fashion, with one boring talking-head scene after another. Inadequate suspense and a threadbare story, with Johnny (overrated) Depp getting humped by Satan himself at the end. Please.
Regarding occult films, I recommend “Curse of the Demon” (1958). Black and white, but it puts “The Ninth Gate” to shame.
I think “The Skull” (1965) is superior as well.
