hey i’m trying to watch a movie that i can hardly hear so i raise the volume. then the commercial screems at me. a little consistancy please. i know you want us to hear the commercials when we’re in the kitchen but please lower the volume!!

I am very very tired of excessive advertising on AMC. The excessive length of commercial breaks, the “scrunching” of credits of the previous show in order to start the new program or to allow advertising or promos is STUPID. We, as a people in this country, are SEVERLY over-exposed to commercial advertisin.. It’s almost to the point commercial air-time is longer than programming air-time. Also, the promos for “BREAKING BAD” are way over used. I didn’t like the show when it came out on SHOWTIME and it hasn’t gotten any better. In my oppinion, 4 minutes of advertising per 30 minutes of programming is sufficient. Also, stop infomercials. Us night-owls want to watch programming…..not ads!

every once in a while you will show a movie that I would like to see again. I tune in the movie, watch & then a couple of idiots come on the screen making some idiotic stupid personnal comments about the film that don’t mean a dame. Just because of these couple of idiots I turn the channel to something else. When are you going to stop useing these dorks, if you want to put on a product commercial, do so, but don’t ruin a decent movie with some morons comments.

I am looking for any information on clothing that Janet Leigh put her name on. My mother has a black cocktail dress from early 1950’s with a tag that says “Janet Leigh Designs”. She purchased it in New York at a small shop. Does anyone know how much this may be worth? It easily a size 2 or 4

Several years ago I saw a movie. I only remember that it was a love story. The man was a white man. The woman was an islander. Maybe from Hawaii or some other tropical island. They fell in love and had to get the chief or council’s permission to marry. They did marry. They wanted to have children and were having trouble. So the wife brought her sister home to her husband, so she could give a child to her husband. Then at the end of the movie, something went wrong and the wife had to throw herself into a volcano. If someone can tell me the name of this movie, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you Annette

I currently have ATT Uverse in th little Rock Arkansas area. It seems they have chosen not to carry American Movie Clasics here , which happens to be one of my favorite channels. Do you have any information as to weather they may becontracing for you channel in my area? They seem to know nothing , but do carry AMC in other areas. I hate to have to cancel Uverse but If I can’t get AMC. I may have to go back to Satellite to get the service.
