Today is Thanksgiving and a family day why would you subject families to the horrible line up you have for this wonderful weekend. What is wrong with good old fashion families that our children and grandchildren should be watching. I am glad I don’t have to pay for your channel or it would be the first one I would cancel. You never show good old fashion movies like you used to and the commercials are horrible. Sure glad I have satellite and can get better programming than the cable companies have to offer. I use to watch AMC alot but now I just flip right by it.

I know you’ve heard this before and this is to cast my vote : THE VOLUME CHANGE IS WAY OVERDONE !!!!! I have to use my mute button when the advertisements show or I have to play with the volume to hear the movie correctly. The range in the volumes have kept me away from AMC unless it’s a really good movie AND there is nothing else on. I’d like to see “Prisoner” but unless this problem is resolved I don’t think I will be.

I am a frequent viewer of AMC movie channel. During the entire month of October, i was looking forward and hoping to see the real horror classic monster movies,(Frankenstein,Wolfman, Dracula). And as the Halloween weekend approached, i was really hoping to see a possible marathon of all these classic monster movies over the weekend. But not one classic monster movie was aired. It was all the same stuff- All the Halloween sequels, Aliens, ETC. Is their a chance that maybe AMC can squeeze in a possible classic monster movie marothon over the Thanksgiving weekend, starting on Thanksgiving all the way to Sunday ?

AMC: The best channel on the T.V.!
I don’t know if you ca help me,but here it goes.
Looking foward to watching Clint Eastwoods “Johnny Mercer” piece. I was given a complete set of “Johnny Mercer & The Piped Pipers ” recordings, in a hard cardboard album holding four (4) 78rpm records. My dad love these, and he knew I would enjoy them also. My guess is that their about 60 years old. I would like to send these to Mr. Eastwood, since he is such a big fan. Where would I send it ???? I believe this is valuable, and do not want it sitting in somebodys desk, and Mr. Eastwood never receiving it. Can you help me ???
Thank you for your time.

I can understand advertising, but what in the world is the purpose of having those little people pop up in the left hand corner of the current program obscuring the view of the current movie. There is such a thing as adverse advertising – or advertising which turns consumers OFF. I was considering watching Mad men until they started appearing every minute or so, interrupting my movies. I’ve seen enough of them already – pleeeease stop with the little Mad Men and fire whoever thought that up!

It seems AMC is showing the same old movies, i.e. First Blood, Godfather, etc. I realize some love these movies and others but after showing them 4 or 5 times in two months I’d think it was time to move on to something else. Myself I like western, such as John Wayne and other “good” westerns. My wife likes what I call “chick flicks”, i.e. You’ve Got Mail. We all have our favorites but to show seemingly the same movies month after month is a bit much, in my opinion.
